This policy also applies to other similar technologies, such as browser local storage, used for equivalent purposes.

3. Difference between the website and the application

The weenest.app website sets only technical cookies necessary for it to work, for language selection and for security. It does not use audience measurement cookies.

The app.weenest.app application uses, in addition to the necessary technical cookies, audience measurement cookies as described in section 6.

These cookies cannot be disabled because they are essential to providing the service, and setting them does not require prior consent.

6. Audience measurement cookies during the beta phase

The application currently uses audience measurement cookies provided by its infrastructure provider, for the sole purpose of understanding how features are used and improving the service during the beta phase.

This data is not used for advertising purposes, is not used to build commercial profiles and is not shared with third parties for such purposes.

Weenest is working on implementing a prior consent mechanism that will allow users to accept or reject these cookies before they are set. This policy will be updated once that mechanism is available.

In the meantime, users may object to these cookies by blocking them through their browser settings, as described in section 8, or by writing to contact@weenest.app.

Some services integrated into Weenest may use their own cookies:

The processing of these cookies is subject to each provider's own policies.

8. How to manage or block cookies

Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or deleted through their settings, and also allow third-party cookies to be blocked.

Blocking audience measurement cookies does not prevent access to the service or limit its features. By contrast, disabling necessary cookies may prevent the platform from working properly.

Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In France, that authority is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.
